Rana Kayal, M.D., will present a talk on stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA, also known as a
mini-stroke) at 12 noon on Wednesday,
October 12, in Fauquier Hospital’s Sycamore Room.
Stroke is the fourth leading cause of death and the
number-one cause of long-term disability in America. During this presentation,
Dr. Kayal will explain the difference between a TIA and stroke and the signs
and symptoms of both. In addition, she will discuss the latest diagnostic tools
and treatment options available and what you should do if
